App works really great if you are synchronising to the desktop app. Also you need to pay a subscription for the desktop app to enable synchronisation. The app wouldn't be great standalone, but really liking it and will retire another to use this for the future.
Bought this app today started to put details into the portfolio but what ever i put in it says live quotes not available sorry we were not able to find any information, but it does this for everything i put in i even tried the symbols for the stocks in the screen capture on Google apps, and it says the same even for these. so if it cant find any of the funds i put in what is the point of it so far a waste of my money unless i have been doing something very wrong please advise if i have regards jim got onto support which were helpful couldn't get the app to work right, but they gave me a long-winded workaround the app crashes frequently and not all investments were found so hit-and-miss this should be very smooth, but I'm afraid it isnt
For quite some time I have used the Windows version of StockmarketEye (still on version 4 as that was under a one-time payment not a yearly sub like version 5), I swear by it and use it constantly - it is there on my screen from start of the day (every day) until the end of the day. Soon after I bought (paid for version) & downloaded the Android version for my phones, tablets etc to use when I'm out & about. However I have found this App is almost worse than useless as it is so user unfriendly. Just as an simple example it is impossible to save your settings so if you want to (for example) save your stocks/shares alphabetically or have your opening screen listing your portfolio you can't as it always defaults to the initial version as presumably hard programmed. The above is just ONE example of the Developers' inflexibility. Having sent an email to the Developers quite some time ago about this and listing the majority of improvements that I think are needed, I didn't even get the courtesy of an acknowledgement let alone any form of reply. This basic rudeness/lack or courtesy simply means that under no circumstances would I ever recommend this App to anyone which is crazy as the Desktop version is superb and I always get very good service from their Technical Department when I have a query. Possibly this App is from another developer but in that case A) why are they using StockmarketEye's name & style OR B) they are another department of StockmarketEye in which case they ought to be disbanded immediately as they are not giving StockmarketEye any good publicity On the basis that more and more people rely on their smart phones/tablets to monitor their investments any sensible person would think that a good, reliable & adaptable App would be an absolute priority for this Company SO PULL YOUR SOCKS UP DEVELOPER AND GET A USEFUL VERSION OUT THERE PDQ
Hey, I reach out to you for support to email. And you reply with email advise me to repeat I did originally. You guy are clueless!!! Does not work. And developer does not reply to email . I will refuse to pay.
The developer is just not interested in developing the Android app. Which means for users like myself who paid the full subscription for the Windows application unfortunately cannot use continue using this product when switching to Android. It's a real shame.
Worst app ever. Dont waist your money on this. Data doesnt load. Can look up tickers with one letter like "T" for AT&T
Purchased the paid version. It worked pretty good, although you can't sort anything, so if you have dozens of different stocks, reading thru the list that isn't sorted in any meaningful way is pretty much torture. In addition, I switched to a new phone and forgot the password for the app. The password recovery on the app literally does nothing. There's no way to enter my key from the desktop app into the mobile app, and now there is no way to sync the mobile app to my desktop app, making the mobile app completely useless and a waste of money. Edit 03/04/2020 - The developer got back to me with a link to update my password. Raising my rating to 4 stars, still deducting 1 point for the lack of filtering in the mobile app.
Doesn't support ASX
Excellent app Business forever
sincere apologies to the developer for the earlier review, I was supposed to be sending the bug report on the email provided not on the review board.
